The UK JUGS meetings will be a combination of talks, learning and socialising. We are currently putting together an events diary but we do plan:
- Scheduled speakers
- Lightning talks
- Prizes / raffles for donated books, Java merchandise etc
- Social events (pub / dinner meets)
- Code clinics
We currently meet on the last Wednesday of the month. We hold talks in central Edinburgh (Appleton Tower, TechCube etc) and retire to a local pub for discussions after.
Next Meeting – Introducing Apache CloudStack
Sebastien Goasguen (CloudStack committer and cloud evangelist) is coming to Scotland to talk about CloudStack, Apache and all things cloud and open-source.
